On August 10, 2012, LEGO celebrated its 80th birthday!  In honor of this special occasion Miss Beth (along with a little help from her son Jonathan) has put together a cool display in one of our glass cases at the Main Library.  There is a birthday cake made of LEGO bricks, as well as birthday presents, a gift bag, and a party hat.  Next time you are in the library, be sure to check it out.  It's pretty awesome.

Starting in September the library will be resuming our monthly LEGO Club meetings on the second Wednesday of the month at 4:30 p.m. at the Indian Creek Branch.  This fall we will also be offering an evening LEGO Club on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the Main Library.  We are also starting a Homeschool LEGO Club specifically for homeschoolers on the first Monday of the month at 1:30 p.m. at the Indian Creek Branch.  All of these programs require registration.  For more information and fall schedules, visit the Programs page of our website or pick up a fall programs flyer at the library.
