Summer Reading Program for Children

Every summer the Olathe Public Library has a special reading program for children going into 5th grade and younger. This year's theme is Dig Into Reading!  Kids, keep track of your summer reading with a summer reading folder.  There will be a variety of fun activities happening throughout the summer.  Click here to find out more about what we have planned.

Storytimes

SUMMER STORYTIMES

During the summer he library offers storytimes outside in the parks of Olathe.  We also offer an evening storytime at the Indian Creek Branch.  The stories are geared to children ages 3 - 5, but all are welcome. May Programs

FAMILY CHESS NIGHTS - For all ages

Monday, May 20
6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at the Indian Creek Branch

Come play chess with a worthy opponent at our Family Chess Nights.  Boards and equipment will be provided.  All ages and playing levels welcome, but kindergartners and younger must be accompanied by an adult.  No registration.

FAMILY READ-ALOUD CLUB
