Board Books for Newborns Program
This is a service offered by the Children's Department, in conjunction with the Friends of the Library organization. If you have a new baby at your house, come in to the Children's Department to pick up a special gift for your newborn. You must pick up the gift before your child's first birthday. It is our way of welcoming your child to the library--hopefully the first of many visits!
Bookmobile
During the past three summers the Olathe Public Library has provided bookmobile services to Olathe children who attend several of the Title I schools. This program is funded entirely by donations from individuals and local organizations, including the Friends of the Olathe Public Library, the Olathe Public Library Foundation, the Santa Fe Trail Rotary Club, Olathe Noon Optimists Club, several Olathe schools, and the city of Olathe. Plans are currently underway for the bookmobile in the summer of 2013.
